Every Chamonix print starts with the same commitment — to produce something that does justice to the original photograph and lasts long after the trip that inspired it. Here's a full breakdown of the materials, process, and options available.

"An off-white, uncoated surface that gives landscapes a natural, painterly quality — accurate colour without the glare of glossy paper."

The Paper

All prints are produced on 200gsm premium matte FSC-certified paper — a printer's edition, off-white archival stock that is uncoated and specifically chosen for fine art reproduction. The surface is smooth without being slick, giving images depth and tonal accuracy that glossy paper simply can't match.

Premium Texture

Smooth, refined surface that enhances colour vibrancy and fine detail without any reflective coating.

🕰

Archival Quality

Long-lasting and durable. Prints produced on archival paper remain pristine for decades when cared for properly.

🌱

FSC Certified

Produced using sustainable, environmentally conscious processes — the landscapes we photograph deserve to still exist.

Paper That Does Justice to the Image

The off-white, uncoated surface gives mountain landscapes a natural, almost painterly quality. Colours read accurately without the glare or oversaturation of glossy paper — the same stock used in fine art print studios.

Colours may vary slightly depending on your monitor's calibration and brightness settings. Screens are backlit and often display more saturated colours than a printed surface can reproduce. Our print partners are selected for colour accuracy, and we aim to produce prints as faithful to the original photograph as possible. If you're unsure, ordering a smaller size first is a good way to check colours before committing to something larger.
